Welcome to Honeybee’s Patisserie!
My name is Melissa, a bubbly, random pastry chef on a never-ending adventure in baking. This blog showcases my work through culinary school, recipe research/modifications, and reviews of some culinary products used along the way. If you are curious about the meaning behind the name Honeybee’s Patisserie it is actually quite simple. My name is Melissa, a Greek name meaning Honeybee. These are my pastries. Therefore you get Honeybee’s Patisserie!!!
Accompanying me on my culinary journey is my wonderful boyfriend Peter. He is the love of my life, inspiration, chief taste tester, and photographer. Without him, my daughter, and twin tabby cats Sonny and Shiloh, life in the kitchen wouldn’t be as fun. Free time usually finds me baking, gaming, or traveling…which brings me to my goal. My dream to pair food and travel, taking steps around every corner of the world to taste the flavors of many cultures, then bring them back to Honeybee’s Patisserie to share with all of you.
From my Central Florida kitchen, I hope my website brings you a touch of pastry from paradise!!!
